Description


Studia Informatica, which commenced publication in 2003, is now the generally accepted forum for the publication of results of current research in this field. The journal is a scholarly open access, peer-reviewed, half-yearly journal focusing on theories, methods and applications in computer science. Specifically, it welcomes papers on: Foundations of Computer Science Information Theory, Automata Theory, Cognitive Science, Theories of Qualitative Behavior, Artificial Intelligence, Soft Computing, Semiotics, Bio-informatics.

Computer Scientists, Artificial Intelligence, Specialists Cognitive Scientists, Linguists - all both `pure' and `applied', Computer Specialists working in: systems design; implementation and evaluation; database development and management; operating systems design and maintenance; applications programming; computer architecture design; computer security.


Submissions

  • Studia Informatica will publish original, innovative and creative research results. From time to time, the journal publishes survey articles.
  • All submitted articles (in English language only) should report original, previously unpublished research results, experimental or theoretical, and will be peer-reviewed. Articles submitted to the journal must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
  • Manuscripts should follow the style of the journal and are subject to both review and editing (see Guidelines for Authors).
  • Papers will be typically published in less than half a year after the final version in the correct form is received. Acceptance will be based primarily on originality, scientific merit, novelty, contribution and relevance to the journal scope. Nevertheless acceptance is rather higher.
